Narrated ‘Abdullah- The Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said,
“Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise.
And a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person.
Falsehood leads to Al-Fajur (i.e. wickedness, evil-doing), and Al-Fajur (wickedness) leads to the (Hell) Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, a liar.” Bukahri
Narrated Abu Hurayrah:
Rasul Allah, sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said, “Whosoever does
not thank people, has not thanked Allah.” Abi Dawud
Jabir bin ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: In the course of a journey, Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) saw a man whom the people were crowding around and providing some shade. Upon this, he (the Prophet) asked: What is the matter with him? They said: He is a person observing Fast. Whereupon the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: It is not righteousness that you fast while you are travelling. (Muslim)
