May allah reward you for the days you spent in fasting, recitation of the quran and praying in the qiyam.

8 Basic Errors Muslims make when Paying Zakat Al-Fitr

I feel compelled to put this together because I’ve seen
the following errors being committed even since I was a
young boy. In sha Allah, you can help me spread the word by
sharing this article with your community, friends and
family.

What is Zakat ul-Fitr? Think “Iftar”, Zakat Ul-Fitr is
the charity that we pay at the end of Ramadan. Here is the
foundational hadith that establishes the obligation of
Zakat ul-Fitr:

Ibn `Umar reported that the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa
sallam), made Zakat al-Fitr compulsory on every slave,
freeman, male, female, young and old among the Muslims; one
Saa` (a measurement: four double handfuls) of dried dates or
one Saa` of barely.
[Sahih Bukhari - Arabic/English, vol. 2, p. 339, no. 579]

now it’s the time to give you some Tools.

The First one is Heart Wheel Journal , made by Muhammad Alshareef. this is a great journal for planing your ramadan, and even any other month. (pdf file, 2.16 mb)

Second is this great “Ramdan Time Table Plan” , that gives you the option to plan a calender of your own for ramadan. (excel file, download it , fil it up and print)

And Third is this Ramadan Cheklist.

Inshallah we will all make good plans for ramadan and we will finish it with great reward and improvment- Amin.

Asalamu ‘alikum dear brothers and sisters,

here we are in the last days of the month sha’aban and that means ramadan is on the door steps. Ramadan- the month of fasting, the month of praying and making dua, the month of quran and zikir. the month of love between the muslim and his lord, between the muslim and his family and all other muslims in the community. may allah reward us a great reward in this blessed month and inshallah we will gain a great taqwa and iman through it, amin.
